I open the app, says it’s no longer supported, trying to update app, still not supported.

Since the last up date this app is absolutely useless. Scanning/checking a ticket doesn’t work anymore.

Does not scan over half the time to check or enter tickets!!!

This is one of few apps which seems to worsen with each update. I truly don’t understand how they could have “developers” so inept that the app continues to get worse every time they “update” it. Good luck scanning to check for winning tickets… horrible.

When I try to scan a winning ticket it always says error. It’s annoying.

Got a new iPhone 16 pro and c it won’t scan he barcode to check ticket or to enter 2nd chance.

Constantly needs updating. Glitchy. Not surprisingly, the California government is trash at everything. They don’t do a single thing well.

The ticket scanning feature, probably the most (only?) useful one, has always had issues, but now, on newer iPhones with dedicated macro lenses (and a longer minimum focus distance on the standard lens), our just downright painful. The app won’t switch lenses to macro (like Apple native apps), and keeping it at a distance where everything is in focus pulls in too broad of a view & confuses the scanner as to where is the barcode. Please, fix this, it’s unbearable.

Developers need to keep in mind that some of us don’t have the money to upgrade to a new phone! Leaves me out…another app being deleted…

I’m like almost every other app on my iPhone 7 I cannot run an older version of this app to run on my phone. Sorry Felix I’m not going out and buying a new iPhone just to satisfy you and your conspiracy with Apple to make us upgrade our products.

Scanning camera not compatible with iPhone 16, will not allow you to scan barcodes on tickets.

I’ve been trying to login and check a 2nd chance but it keeps taking me out of the app to a website where it doesn’t have my information and it’s just a huge headache and I can’t get it working. Absolute headache, if you have an app let me just use the app!

Looking at a $5 winning ticket but it’s saying this ticket is not a winner. Yikes. How many other tickets were winners but it told me they were not? So disappointed. Please correct this. This app has potential

The app needs enhancements to support modern phone cameras. It often takes 3-5 tries for each ticket. It’s hugely time inefficient.

While using the check a ticket I always get that message back and right now that app doesn’t focus on the bar code so this delay will make me lose my chances to win

Why has my phone been removed , because it’s a 7pluse ? I can’t afford a new phone and my second chances are lost ,

The title should be enough. The app is terrible.

For an unnecessary reason, the app is no longer available on older iPhones, because updates require a newer operating system that the phones can’t run. This app is small, only 29.2 MB, but the developers can’t keep it accessible on older OS? Pretty bad.

I have an iPhone 7, that only goes to iOS 15.8.4. CA lottery says iPhones must have iOS 16. Or better. No more playing the CA lottery. The app was always glitchy anyways. I hope they resolve this issue. Maybe get some real IT folks. Or I guess they could give me an iPhone 16. Not going to happen. Oh well too bad so sad. Bye lottery.

Goes to Home Screen when accessing camera for check a ticket and 2nd chance

Now this app is useless because it doesn’t open the camera - it’s just black. I checked permissions, updated, reinstalled. Fix this!

Ready to upgrade my rating once this is fixed

I have iPhone 7+. Nothing wrong with it. Apple won’t allow latest iOS update since they don’t wanna support poor folks. This CA lottery app won’t work without updated iOS 16. Hence both phone mfg and CA lottery software designers are forcing users like me to HAVE to buy a new phone. System is rigged against the poor.

I downloaded my newest update. Cannot access.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still gives an error anytime I try to use check a ticket. That is really the only reason I ever used this app back when I har an android phone, but now on my iphone that feature has never worked for me and I am so disappointed with it.

I cannot open the App, Open the App then the App immediately shuts down

It no longer works with iPhone 16 pro. With my 11 pro you can scan tickets easily, with the 16 this app feels like we are back in 1997

Reported the issues multiple times, with NO SUCCESS.

This app is completely unusable for scanning tickets! Fix it please.

I have installed and uninstalled this app so many times in hope that the scanner was fixed but it never is.

The main reason for this app is to easily and quickly check your tickets. The scanner is terrible. Have to do backflips for it to maybe read the barcode.

I keep getting the following error message when scanning a ticket: ! ERROR "There was an issue with our system. We're sorry. Please try again."

The iPhone lotto ticket reader is broken!!! Fix it!!!

The latest update is terrible. When I swipe left or right on any game, it lags and I have to swipe it slowly. The resolution is out of whack too. I have already deleted and reinstalled the app. I just updated my iPhone to the latest and greatest but still lags.

Always an issue with the scanner, tried on both phones and tablet and it’s always the same error message. Y’all need to fix these bugs

Please fix. After installing and using check a ticket does not scan at all. Very frustrating, please fix. On iPhone 16pro

You have to try several times before it finally scans. It seems to work better if you hold ticket very still. Draw game scans don’t seem to have this problem. Using iPhone 15.

This app never works. Always errors and systems issues. I've reloaded like 5x. Just use the website…inconveinent, but…no headache.

I feel like it’s been well over a year since I’ve been able to use this app to any capacity. Cannot scan tickets, cannot look at numbers. Numbers won’t update. For me it has been stuck at August..

The scan doesn’t work. Whoever designed this need to try themself how terrible this is
